Postero-Superior & Antero-Inferior groups

    In our body's brain, the major Cranial Sinuses include a postero-superior group (such as superior sagittal sinus (superior longitudinal sinus), transverse sinuses (lateral sinuses), inferior sagittal, straight, and occipital sinus) and an antero-inferior group (such as cavernous, petrosal sinuses, and basilar plexus).
    Examples of cranial sinuses include:

    In our body's venous blood system, the Iliac Vein is a vein on either side of the body which is formed by the union of the external and internal iliac veins and passes upward to join with its fellow of the opposite side to form the inferior vena cava.

“Jugular Veins”  

    In our body's vascular blood system, the Jugular Veins are the veins in the neck (throat,) which drain the brain, face, and neck into the brachiocephalic veins or subclavian veins.

    The Jugular Veins bring deoxygenated blood from the head back to the heart via the superior vena cava.

External, Internal & Anterior Jugular Veins

    In our body's vascular blood system, there are two sets of major Jugular Veins: external jugular vein, and internal jugular veins, and the one minor jugular veins the Anterior Jugular Vein.
